Back when I originally started Designed to Last in 2020, I never really thought it would grow into anything beyond a personal project, but nearly 5 years later here we are.
There are many publications that have inspired Designed to Last, but one of my favourites has always been Nowness. Things recently came full circle, when I was asked to work on a guest piece for their series #CuratedBy.
For the latest edition of #CuratedBy, I worked with Nowness to share a diverse range of 10 design and archive references from the past few years of Designed to Last.

1. Hopper House II by Marcel Breuer in Baltimore, Maryland (1959)

2. Bonaventure Hotel by John Portman in Los Angeles, California (1976)

3. Case Study House No. 8 by Charles and Ray Eames in Los Angeles, California (1948)
4. The Sculpture House by Jacques Couëlle in Mouans-Sartoux, France (1960)
5. The Walstrom Residence by John Lautner in Santa Monica, California (1969)

6. Home of Architect Peter Cohen in Ellsworth, Maine (2009)

7. The Featherson House by Robin Boyd in Melbourne, Australia (1969)

8. The Kalfus Studio by Steven Ehrlich in Los Angeles, California (1981)

10. The Segel House by John Lautner in Malibu, California (1979)
